Marco’s Paws Mobile Grooming Policies
Marco’s Paws Mobile Grooming Policies
Thank you for choosing Marco’s Paws Mobile Grooming. Please read the following policies before booking an appointment. These policies help provide a safe, professional, and enjoyable grooming experience for every dog and owner.
1. Health Requirements
Dogs must be healthy enough for grooming. Please inform us before your appointment if your dog has any medical conditions, medications, injuries, recent surgeries, allergies, seizures, mobility issues, or other health concerns.
2. Vaccination Policy
For the safety of all dogs, vaccinations should be current as recommended by your veterinarian. Dogs with contagious illnesses or parasites that may endanger others may not be groomed.
3. Matted Coat Policy
Severely matted coats may require a shorter haircut to protect your dog’s comfort and safety. Additional grooming charges may apply based on the amount of extra time required.
4. Flea & Tick Policy
If fleas or ticks are discovered during grooming, an additional treatment fee may apply. Grooming may be stopped if the infestation is severe or creates a health or sanitation concern.
5. Appointment & Cancellation Policy
Please be ready at your scheduled appointment time. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations or missed appointments may result in a cancellation fee.
6. Weather Policy
Appointments may be delayed or rescheduled due to severe weather or unsafe road conditions.
7. Emergency Veterinary Care
If a medical emergency occurs during grooming, you authorize Marco’s Paws Mobile Grooming to seek emergency veterinary care if you cannot be reached. The owner is responsible for veterinary expenses unless the injury resulted from groomer negligence.
8. Photo Permission
With your permission, before-and-after photos of your dog may be used on our website or social media. If you decline, your privacy will always be respected.
9. Payment Policy
Payment is due immediately after the appointment is completed.
Accepted payment methods:
* Cash
* Debit cards
* Credit cards
No personal checks accepted.
10. Customer Satisfaction
If you have a concern about your grooming service, please contact Marco’s Paws Mobile Grooming within 24 hours. We will review your concern and determine an appropriate solution.
11. Mobile Grooming Requirements
A safe parking space must be available for the grooming van.
Your dog should be caught, leashed, and ready before the appointment begins.
Our mobile grooming van is fully self-contained. Fresh water and electricity are not required from the customer.
12. Senior Dog Policy
Senior dogs may require additional breaks or shorter grooming sessions for their comfort and safety. Grooming may be stopped if continuing would not be in the dog’s best interest.
13. Pricing
Final pricing is based on your dog’s size, coat type, coat condition, behavior, temperament, grooming time required, and any additional services requested.
14. Humane Grooming Policy
Marco’s Paws Mobile Grooming never forces a dog through grooming. If a dog becomes excessively stressed, fearful, aggressive, or unsafe, the service may be stopped immediately.
15. Safety & Behavior Policy
As a solo mobile groomer, Marco’s Paws Mobile Grooming only accepts dogs that can be safely handled by one groomer.
If a dog becomes aggressive, attempts to bite, cannot be safely restrained, or creates an unsafe situation, grooming may be stopped immediately.
If grooming is stopped after the appointment has begun due to safety concerns, applicable safety cancellation fees or completed service charges will apply according to company policy.
Clients who refuse to pay required fees may be permanently declined for future services.
16. Sanitation
All grooming tools, tubs, tables, and equipment are cleaned and sanitized between appointments to help provide a clean and healthy grooming environment.
17. Right to Refuse Service
Marco’s Paws Mobile Grooming reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service at any time if a dog or situation presents a safety risk, required information was not disclosed before the appointment, or company policies are not followed.
